Basic Use

Fiberglass pipe insulation is a one piece molded insulation made from glass fibers bonded with a thermo setting resin. The all surface jacketing (ASJ) is a white kraft paper bonded to aluminum foil and reinforced with a fiberglass scrim.

The longitudinal seam of the jacket has a self-sealing lap (SSL) or adhesive strip and a pre-cut butt strip is included for each section. The SSL adhesive strip provides mechanical and vapor retarder closure of the longitudinal seam.

Core Specifications

High quality materials with temperature range from 0 to 850 F. The standard length is 3 feet in 1/2 inch increments. Sizes available range from 1/2 inch to 24 inch iron pipe size with thickness differences from 1 to 4 inches. All products meet ASTM standards.
